Baruch Haba! Welcome to Friedel Jewish Academy Day School! Friedel plays a crucial role in educating and renewing our children's connection to our heritage, and in renewing each generation's commitment to repair the world today. Friedel was founded in 1964 by a small group of Omaha Jewish Community members who wanted to provide a superb education for their children in a pluralistic Jewish community - a mission we continue to honor. Friedel is not affiliated with any denomination or movement, and welcomes the diversity of Jewish experience and tradition. The active participation of parents, many of whom bring an international flavor to the school, strengthens and enriches our community. Our facility is located on the site of the Jewish Community Center and is easily accessible to the community.
