Ma'ayanot School & Partnership with Israel
Ma'ayanot School
Friedel Jewish Academy is thankful to have a twinning program with Ma'ayanot school, located in the north of Israel, close to the northern boarder, in our Partnership with Israel region (see below for more on Partnership with Israel). We share curriculum and experiences together, many art projects are sent as gifts at special times of the year, and we also share 'Ariot,' our lion and mascot, who has traveled to each school many times with a journal that tells stories to the children of his travels.
Partnership with Israel (Partnership 2000)
Omaha is a part of a 16 city consortium that partners with the Western Galilee - our community Partnership with Israel.
Partnership 2000 (P2K) is a program of the Jewish Agency for Israel that promotes regional development in Israel and forges relationships between these regions and Jewish communities in the Diaspora. P2K supports education, twinning and coexistence programs, leadership development, economic and tourism initiatives.
The Jewish Agency for Israel is the organization that transforms money into action. The Jewish Agency, with funds raised in Diaspora communities, absorbs new immigrants, creates Jewish educational materials and strengthens the ties among Jews all over the world.
